Frontend Engineer
Must Have:
- Solid understanding of UX and UI design with an emphasis on maximizing usability.
- Knowledge of grids, typography, hierarchy, and information flow.
- Mobile and responsive website coding and implementation experience.
- Understanding of design constraints such as browser capabilities, media types, platform differences, and operating systems.
- Expert knowledge of latest CSS methodologies and cross-browser CSS styling.
- Experience with the entire build to deploy process with npm, webpack, eslint, etc.
- Experience with modern javascript frameworks such as React, Ember, or Angular.
- Experience developing production web applications and MVC frameworks.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience developing CSS, Javascript and front end UI technologies.
Bonus Points:
- BS in Computer Science.
- Experience with Photoshop / Sketch.

Senior Backend Engineer
Must Have:
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of software design patterns.
- Experience designing and developing concurrent distributed applications operating on large clusters of machines.
- Extensive knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, and data structures.
- Familiarity setting up caching layers and task queue.
- Strong object oriented programming and modeling skills.
- Experience maintaining and debugging large-scale distributed services.
- Expert at designing and building production APIs.
- Enjoy writing well-tested, well-organized code.
- Strong leadership and communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Java and/or Scala backend engineer.
Technologies:
- Strong Spring, Hibernate and Maven knowledge.
- Experience with Cassandra and/or Mongo.
- Experience with Apache Spark.
- Experience with relational databases like MySQL. Expert at data modeling / db design with the ability to write efficient SQL queries with your eyes closed.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with scaling systems (AWS/EC2, load-balancing).
- Prior experience writing low-latency, high volume, fault tolerant systems is a big plus.
- Experience operating and maintaining services running on Linux systems.
- Proficient using common linux tools which aid in debugging and running services.

- Experience with Druid.
